A documentary about the real world of crime and law enforcement, as opposed to the fictional one.
Anette & Anette are criminal investigators working at different police stations in Sweden.
We follow their work in overstretched police forces, responsible for crime control covering large rural areas. They are woman working in an extremely male dominated profession. Neither service handguns nor bullet-proof vests are designed for women.
Lack of resources means that they often have to deal with incidents on their own, without a partner, and that makes them vulnerable to assaults.
Despite death, grief and setbacks they always treat people with humanity and understanding.
