During the years which have passed Holmqvist more or less lost contact with his young friends. He had heard that Eusebio had been killed in the civil war in Guatemala. One day however he received a letter informing him that Eusebio was still alive, living as a refugee in Southern Mexico.
Holmqvist decided to find out what had happened to all his friends. He started by travelling to Eusebio in Mexico and then continued around the world to meet the other five who today are aged 35-40 years.
SIX OF THE SIX BILLION is a story about past and current times. The film illustrates the vast changes affecting the world during the last 25 years.
