Erik Höglund - The Revolutionary at Boda Glass-Works (Erik Höglund - Revolutionären på Boda)

When Erik Höglund (1932–1998) arrived at Boda Glass-Works in 1953, only 21 years old, nobody could guess that he would completely change the way glass was produced at Boda. This was the beginning of a new era, which also lay the foundation for the first small glass-works in the US.

Höglund e.g. threw pieces of potatoes into the hot glass mass to create bubbles in the glass.

Erik Höglund, was one of Sweden’s most outstanding designers of glass, well known and admired all over the world.
