Esther's Book (Esthers Bok)

Story:
Esther’s Book tells the story how, almost three thousand years ago, the Jewish queen Esther and her uncle Mordechai saved their people in Persia from the genocide planned by the evil Haman. The Jewish holiday Purom commemorates their miraculous rescue.

Esther’s Book is about unshakeable faith and about optimism and unrestrained happiness, which is the essence of Purim.

The film is also a reminder that the Holocaust of the twentieth century was not the first attempt to eliminate the Jews.
