It’s ten years since the assassination of the Swedish foreign minister Anna Lindh.
On 10th September 2003 she met her killer in a public place in Stockholm.
Years have passed and little has been said about her role in domestic, EU and international politics.
She was a young and different kind of politician. Have her political ideas survived, or when hearing the name do we only remember the assassination?
...it's a major loss, not just to Sweden, but to the world in many ways, because she was the epitome of what a socially conscious, young leader could do for a country
Madeleine Albright, former US Secretary of State
Courage, persistence. Always curious and certainly no pushover
Mona Sahlin, friend, chair of the Anna Lindh Memorial Fund.
