The Boy with the Golden Trousers (Pojken med Guldbyxorna)

The Boy with the Golden Trousers  is a story about  simple old-fashioned miracles, which most children dream about, but which very seldom happen in real life. Mats is a thirteen-year-old boy who lives with his father. One day he finds a pair of old trousers. Every time Mats puts his hand in the pocket he finds a 10-pound note. He can hardly believe his luck. He goes on a shopping spree and he brings his father on an expensive holiday. One evening Mats watches the news on television and he sees pictures of starving children in Africa. Mats decides to start his own private relief organisation, helping to feed children in need. Mats starts to "produce" vast amounts of money. At the same time there are reports that large amounts of money are disappearing from banks and big companies. Mats slowly begins to realise that he is not only one of the richest people in the country but also a thief...He is "the man without finger-prints"......
